CESSPOOLS

In all environmental conditions, our cesspools are safe and reliable. We offer a complete service from supply, installation, maintenance and tankering…

A Brief Intro To Cesspools…

A cesspool is a term used to describe an underground holding tank sealed at the bottom with no outlet. It can be used for the temporary collection and storage of faeces, excreta or faecal sludge as part of an on-site sanitation system and has some similarities with septic tanks.

Being large and costly to install and maintain, cesspools are normally recommended as a last resort. However, if you already use a cesspool, we do offer highly competitive rates for the on-going tankering requirements.

What You Need To Know…

Building Control regulations state that a minimum of 45 days sewage storage must be provided when installing a cesspool, which equates to a minimum of 18,200 litres or 4000 gallons for a single home.

Cesspools are specialised and site specific, therefore we strongly recommend that you contact us for further advice and information.
